The New York Yankees went viral in their first series against the Milwaukee Brewers. Their use of torpedo bats has led many players to try and replicate their success.

This year the club introduced a new bat featuring what they call a “Torpedo Barrel,” and it’s quite literally breaking the game of baseball. This was most apparent on Saturday night in a 20-9 win over the Milwaukee Brewers in which the Yankees hit an astonishing nine home runs across seven players.

The bats shaped like bowling pins at the end have baseball buzzing after they were used by Yankees players who contributed to a barrage of 15 home runs in the first three games.
