If first impressions are any indication, Seattle Sounders FC mean business – and then some – in this year's Leagues Cup tournament.

In their first match of the group stage, Cruz Azul suffered a painful 7-0 defeat against the Seattle Sounders at Lumen Field. The Mexican side was completely dominated, unable to mount any offensive response against an inspired opponent. Seattle opened the scoring just after the start of the second half and completed the rout in the 91st minute.
