A Georgia state senator who was previously banned from the state House chamber was arrested Thursday when he tried to enter the chamber for the governor's state of the state speech and got into a shoving match with House employees.

A sitting Georgia state senator was shoved to the ground and taken into custody Thursday for flouting orders not to enter the House chamber during Gov. Brian Kemp's State of the State address.

Sen. Moore was banned from entering House chambers after making controversial comments about late House Speaker David Ralston.
