A St. Petersburg woman was charged with DUI manslaughter after she allegedly struck and killed a pedestrian on Friday, authorities said.

A driver in Sacramento struck and killed a woman Wednesday evening, police said. Around 8 p.m., officers responded to a crash near North B and Dos Rios streets. When they arrived, they found a woman partially in the roadway.

As Tann traveled westbound in the eastbound lanes, she struck a 2016 Nissan Maxima head-on. The driver of that Nissan, identified as 35-year-old Latonya Alisha Foster, suffered serious life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital where she later died.
