Justin Simmons reveals why Broncos cut him in 2024

"To put it bluntly, I know that (I was a cap casualty)," Simmons told Green. At the time of Simmons' release from the Broncos, Simmons was to be owed $18.25 million in 2024. When Denver released him, they took on a dead money cap hit of $3.75 million and a net savings of $14.5 million.
