Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy has accused US President Donald Trump of making the White House an "arm of the Kremlin." Murphy's comments come just days after a Trump insider admitted that the President had developed a "friendship" with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had traveled to Washington to sign a deal that would give the U.S. access to its mineral riches.
