US President Donald Trump has stated that India has largely stopped buying Russian oil following sanctions and tariffs imposed by Washington.

The visit is likely to carry symbolic and strategic significance as it coincides with the fifth anniversary of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and Australia, established in June 2020.

Microsoft chief executive Satya Nadella is set to travel to India in December, his second visit to the South Asian country this year where he plans to hold meetings with top government officials, two sources with direct knowledge said.
