Texas summer camps are facing a race against time and potential closure as they struggle to comply with strict new state safety laws and costly infrastructure mandates just weeks before the season begins.

Camp Mystic has 45 days to revise its emergency plan after Texas officials said that it does not yet fully comply with new rules for youth camps.
