After a sunny Thanksgiving, at least one forecaster says freezing rain might hit Fort Worth. But others say it's too soon to tell.
Thanksgiving Day itself will be sunny across the state with highs mostly in the 60s and 70s. Highs in the 50s are possible in the North Texas area on Turkey Day. With clear skies in the area, it's less likely that any flights out of the area will be canceled.
After a wet start to the holiday week, dry weather returns. More rain is in the forecast for the weekend, though.
Starting this Saturday, North Texas will turn “wet and messy,” followed by potentially icy. Here’s the latest outlook as of Wednesday morning.
The threat for severe weather is a marginal, 1 out of 5 threat Sunday, for areas west of 35, where gusty winds and large hail will be the primary threats.
