LeBron James' return to the Los Angeles Lakers has been quite the challenge after he missed several weeks with an injury.
LeBron James, following his second game of the season, dropped a brutally honest response to how he feels after failing to participate in training camp.
On Sunday, the Lakers faced the Utah Jazz. Once again, LeBron picked up right where he left off. His explosiveness was on full display, leaving no doubt that he hasn’t slowed down despite entering his record-setting 23rd NBA season.
The star's return was also a chance for free-agent acquisition Jake LaRavia to finally get a chance to play with the NBA's all-time scoring leader.
LeBron James is at risk for missing out on an All-NBA team spot for the first time in 22 years. After sitting out the first 14 games of the 2025-26 season amid his recovery from right-side sciatica, James can only miss three more games before hitting the 65-game minimum the NBA requires for end-of-season honors.
The Lakers went 10-4 without James, who has not played this season after being diagnosed with sciatic nerve irritation on his right side.
Listening to music has long been a regular pre-game routine for NBA players. Some do it in the locker room, some during shootaround and some do it outside of the arena — like Giannis Antetokounmpo, who listens to tunes on the plane to drown out the aircraft's buzzing sound.
