An early-morning tragedy on Detroit's west side left three people dead and two others in the hospital after a fire broke out at a home.
DETROIT – Three people are dead after a family home caught fire on Detroit’s west side early Monday morning. The Detroit Fire Department was called to the home in the 19000 block of Wildemere Avenue at about 6 a.m., Dec. 15. They arrived to the house in less than five minutes.
BELLVILLE, MI - A commercial fire has been reported near Detroit this evening, but police have confirmed nobody was injured. The camper fire was called in around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at the National RV Detroit location, 44700 N. Interstate 94 Service Dr., in Belleville.
Fire officials say “challenging circumstances within the house," including items that were obstacles for firefighters, made it difficult to get to the trapped victims.
