In a wild and unexpected shakeup to upcoming WWE events, New Orleans and the WWE have confirmed that WrestleMania 42 will not take place in the city. While a new location has not officially been announced, multiple outlets have reported that there's an intention to bring WrestleMania back to Las Vegas for the second year in a row.

According to multiple outlets, WrestleMania 42 is no longer set to be held in New Orleans, with London, Mexico, and even Las Vegas named as possible replacements for the PLE that takes place next April.

WrestleMania 42 will no longer take place in New Orleans. WWE is moving its biggest annual pay-per-view to a different city and will instead bring Money in the Bank to New Orleans in 2026, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque announced on Friday.
