Bill Ackman, one of the most well-known investors in America, has made an offer to buy Universal Music Group (UMG) through his hedge fund Pershing Square Capital at a staggering $63bn (£48bn).
Universal Music Group N.V. (EURONEXT: UMG) ("UMG" or "the Company") today announced that in the period from April 1, 2026 up to and including April 2, 2026 a total of 231,142 of its own shares were repurchased by the Company at an average price per share of EUR16.
