It was an emotional day of testimony Wednesday for the death penalty trial of Tanner Horner. The mother of 7-year-old Athena Strand took the stand to talk about how her daughter's 2022 murder has affected her family.

The attorneys and judge met Friday to begin evaluating witnesses expected to testify for the defense and the prosecution's rebuttal.

Jurors hear new testimony, past allegations and search history, including "Do FedEx truck cameras constantly record?" in Tanner Horner's trial.

Jurors also learned Tuesday about online searches Horner had made in the hours following Athena Strand’s murder.
