“Brand New Day” is based on the Spider-Man comic storyline of the same name. In the comic book story, Parker lands a deal with Mephisto to make the world forget he is Spider-Man and resurrect Aunt May. However, the spell essentially reboots his world and dissolves his marriage with MJ.

On Saturday, the BAFTA winner revealed his costume for the upcoming sequel Spider-Man: Brand New Day, set to premiere in theaters on July 31, 2026. “Are you ready? – 7.31.2026,” Holland captioned the clip, in which his silhouette is revealed in the massive doorway of a soundstage before walking to the camera in costume.

Tom Holland is returning as the web-slinging superhero Spider-Man in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, complete with a brand new suit with a larger spider logo and brighter shades of blue and red. Holland’s new Spider-Man suit was revealed in a teaser for the upcoming film on Sony Pictures International’s official YouTube channel on Aug 2.
