The National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration are investigating after a small plane crashed into the parking lot of a retirement community. Officials say the plane came down just south of the Lancaster Airport in the parking lot of Brethren Village in the Fieldcrest Building.

Dispatchers reported the crash in Manheim Township around 3:30 p.m. The plane was bound for Springfield, Ohio, according to FlightAware.
