Season two of US medical drama The Pitt, starring Noah Wyle, will return Friday, 9 January on HBO Max. The 15-episode second season is a realistic dramatisation of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh.

HBO Max has released a new trailer and key art for “The Pitt” Season 2, which premieres Jan. 8 at 9 p.m. ET. New episodes of the 15-episode season will premiere weekly until the season finale on April 16.

In addition to Noah, The Pitt also stars Taylor Dearden, Patrick Ball, Shawn Hatosy, Katherine LaNasa, Isa Briones, Fiona Dourif, Shabana Azeez, and Supriya Ganesh, among others. Season two will be set on one injury-prone day: the Fourth of July.
