Salt Lake City police officers responded to the area of 151 South State Street just before 8 p.m. after hearing gunshots.
There were few incidents reported at the peaceful protests that attracted 3,000-4,000 total at River Park and Fashion Fair Mall.
The Texas Department of Safety has arrested a man in connection with a “credible threat toward state legislators” attending Saturday's protest.
Demonstrations are scheduled across California, including Visalia and surrounding cities, according to a map of events shared by NoKings.org.
