After it was reported that the Diamondbacks are in the hunt to sign Alex Bregman, the offseason plans for Arizona may have become much clearer.

The Post’s Jon Heyman reported Tuesday that the Diamondbacks “have interest” in Bregman, who is one of the top free agents on the market this winter. Arizona has a major hole at third base after trading slugger Eugenio Suarez, who hit 36 home runs in a D-backs uniform last year, to the Mariners before last July’s trade deadline.
