New York acquired right-hander Justin Garza from the San Francisco Giants in exchange for cash considerations. “Good arm,” Met manager Carlos Mendoza said, via SNY. “With the ability to throw strikes, that’s what I’m getting.... A guy that has options, obviously. But he’s a strike thrower.”
