Denny Hamlin is back on top in this week’s Power Rankings after his third-place finish at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Hamlin started last after crashing in qualifying, and charged his way to a third-place finish at Indianapolis.
Kyle Larson was on the opposite side of good fortune at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and tried to do the best he could with what he had in attempting to win back-to-back Brickyard 400s, but there was no overcoming Bubba Wallace.
Ty Gibbs is the first ever NASCAR In-Season Challenge winner. At the Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday, Gibbs just needed to finish higher than Ty Dillon, and he did just that, placing 21st as Dillon placed 28th. With the win, he took home the In-Season Challenge prize of $1 million.
