Former Duke basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski, who led Team USA for 11 years, will be inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame.

At Old Dominion, Ticha Penicheiro led the Lady Monarchs to the 1997 NCAA championship game. Over her career, she scored 1,304 points.

Inductees to the 2025 FIBA Hall of Fame include women's basketball greats Dawn Staley, Ticha Penicherio and Leonor Borrell.

DURHAM, N.C. — Former Duke University basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski has been selected to be inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame. Krzyzewski, nicknamed by many as ‘Coach K’, led Duke to 13 NCAA Final Four appearances and five national championships.

The International Basketball Federation (Fiba) announced the exaltation of Cuban Leonor Borrell to the hall of fame of the sport that recognizes its most outstanding figures in history.
