Netflix shared first looks at Tyler Perry's 'Madea's Destination Wedding,' the new comedy 'She The People' and 'Straw' with Taraji P. Henson.

Tyler Perry and Netflix have big plans for 2025. The streamer revealed details for new movies and television shows coming this year including Madea’s Destination Wedding, the new comedy series S he The People, part 2 of the hit drama series Beauty in Black, Straw starring Taraji P. Henson, and the faith-based film R&B.

Netflix‘s announcements on Thursday included the reveal of a new Tyler Perry film, Madea’s Destination Wedding, and first-look photos from the films Straw (starring Taraji P. Henson, Teyana Taylor and more) and the faith-based film R&B with Tyler Lepley.

Tyler Perry has set his 2025 TV and film slate at Netflix and it includes two new projects: the film Madea’s Destination Wedding and the TV series, She the People. This is Perry’s second Madea project with the streaming following A Madea Homecoming released in 2022.
