Bayern Munich is building for the future by snapping up goalkeeper Jonas Urbig from Cologne. The Bavarian powerhouse announced the transfer late Monday.

Bayern Munich have signed goalkeeper talent Jonas Urbig from second division Cologne as a potential successor of Manuel Neuer, the Bundesliga leaders have confirmed. Bayern said late Monday that under-21 national team player Urbig has signed a contract until 2029.
