The dismal performance of 'Snow White' in its second weekend is more bad news for Disney and puts the live-action pic in official bomb territory after falling off a steep 66 percent.

“Snow White” still has time to save itself from becoming one of Disney’s worst performing opening weekend remakes, however: “Mufasa: The Lion King” only earned $35.4 million in December. “Snow White’s” lackluster ticket sales fall well below initial expectations for the film.

Wall Street Journal film critic Kyle Smith and conservative cinephile Christian Toto said a "perfect storm" of bad press and the film's "mediocre" quality led to "Snow White" bombing.
